All scheduling and payments will be managed through Enhancing Communications, not Sprout Studios. We're thrilled to expand our offerings and provide additional resources to support families and their children.
Meet
Amanda Modrowski M.A., CCC-SLP
My name is Alexa Young
Amanda Modrowski was born and raised in Sylvania, Ohio and is currently living and working in the Toledo, Ohio area. She has been a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) since 2013. She graduated from the University of Toledo with her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Speech-Language Pathology. Amanda also received her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She has experience working with adults and children from working in skilled nursing, non-profit organizations, and public and private school environments but found her calling to be in private practice.
Amanda created her private practice called Enhancing Communication, LLC back in 2019 and began working with clients and families full-time by 2020. In 2021, Amanda completed over 30 hours of coursework and training in the assessment and treatment of orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMDs) and in 2022 completed over 40 hours of coursework and training in feeding therapy. Since 2022, Amanda has continued to educate herself in OMDs by completing additional courses and attending conferences focused on this topic. Enhancing Communication began as a mobile speech therapy service provider and is very excited to have an office space with Sprouts Studios! This will allow us to work with more families in the area looking for services.
Enhancing Communication provides screenings, evaluations and therapy services to address speech sounds, expressive and receptive language, social language and myofunctional therapy services to both children and adults. These services are private pay only and Enhancing Communication is also a Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship Provider of speech therapy services.
